Stay Afloat Necklace - Cork Float Amulet - 2 Shades of Pink

Unique silver plated statement necklace with an oversized hand-carved cork bead 'float'.

The idea for this necklace came to me during lockdown. I was missing my usual visits to the coast and for comfort began looking through my photos taken at the beach and around harbours on the East coast of Scotland. Many pictures included floats and the idea of making myself a wearable float, to help stay buoyant really appealed to me! 

• 22" silver-plated trace necklace chain with clasp fastening.
• Hand-carved and painted cork 'float' bead.
• Painted by hand to give a unique weather-beaten appearance using artists quality inks, finished with beeswax, then buffed to a soft sheen.
• Cork is a natural, renewable, lightweight material.
• Each one is made individually and is unrepeatable. The cork float bead will include natural flaws and imperfections, which have been emphasized to show its unique quality.
• Made in my home studio near Edinburgh in Scotland.

Will be carefully packaged to it arrives in excellent condition.
