I'm very excited to announce that my new webshop is now OPEN!
I've been selling my handmade accessories and textiles on Etsy and Folksy for many years, using the name materialised, but decided the time was right to have an online shop of my own to sell all that I make and my artwork together under the one roof.
The past few weeks have been an intense learning curve, as I've got to know (and love) a new ecommerce platform. I chose to build with Shopify after having excellent personal shopping experiences, in other indie handmade shops using the software and when I heard rave reviews from other Shopify users, the deal was sealed.
It's taken many, many hours to get the shop to this stage and it's definitely still a work in progress - so far I've only added greetings cards, brooches and purses. Over the next few weeks I'll be adding many more items, including original drawings and other artwork.
You will probably see things looking different for a while, as I tweak the theme and adjust the settings until everything is just right. So if you see the odd typo or dead link, let me apologise now and feel free to let me know so I can fix it!
The shopping cart itself has been tested and is secure and fully functioning.
